In celebration of Maryknoll Day, two religious formation sessions were held echoing the Mission Sunday theme, “One in Christ, United in Mission.” During the morning English session for senior students, Catholic Society members presented archival materials alongside Fr. Daniel Kim, MM, who explained the historical context of Maryknoll Fathers in China, the rationale behind their direct evangelization methods, and the importance of learning foreign languages. In the afternoon Chinese session, Fr. Joseph Lin shared his inspiring experiences serving in Cambodia with junior students. Bringing the day to a heartwarming close, the Student Union cabinet, Spark, partnered with the Catholic Society to distribute ice cream to students, even hand-delivering treats to senior classes attending after-school lessons.
