The School Opening Ceremony marked the beginning of a new academic year and a new chapter for Maryknoll Fathers’ School.

During the ceremony, our new School Supervisor, Rev. Cyril CHEUNG Lok-tin, shared his vision for the future development of the school and reflected on the mission of Catholic education. He encouraged the MFS community to continue nurturing students through faith, care, responsibility and whole-person development, while remaining faithful to the values of Catholic education.

Our new Principal, Mr YUEN Cheung-oi, also delivered his first address to the school community. He reminded students that education at MFS should be anchored in the values and virtues of the Gospel, encouraging them to grow not only in academic knowledge, but also in character, compassion and service to others.

Principal Yuen also emphasised the importance of building a stronger English-learning environment at MFS. Students were encouraged to make active use of English in their daily school life, communicate with confidence, and embrace every opportunity to strengthen their language proficiency.

With a renewed vision, a strong Catholic identity and a shared commitment to excellence, the MFS community looks forward to another meaningful and fruitful academic year.
