Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, Inc. (M.M.) (天主教外方傳教會(瑪利諾會)is a religious group of Catholic priests and brothers founded in the United States in 1911. The founders of the Society were Rev. James Anthony Walsh of Boston, Massachusetts and Rev. Thomas Price of North Carolina. The Society serves areas where wars, neglect, oppression and poverty have deprived people of their God-given dignity. In 1918, the Society reached out to the Orient. In the 1950s, a large number of refugees fled to Hong Kong from the Mainland and were adversely in need of food, shelter, medical care and education. Fr. Peter Reilly and other colleagues joined in the strenuous efforts to provide needs to these refugees. The founding of Maryknoll Fathers’ School in 1957 is the direct outcome of Christian love and charity of the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America.
